Hike to Yoga First Saturdays
Participants meet at the Don Lorenzo/La Brea entrance of Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in South Los Angeles. After checking in at 8 am, our volunteer Hike Leaders will inspire you to embrace mindfulness and nature into your hike, and lead you to our serene, hilltop location. At 9 am, we will have an accessible, beginner-friendly yoga class infused with nature and community healing through breath and movement.
Hike to Yoga "Hike Leader" Community Leadership Program
Our Hike Leaders serve not only as Hike to Yoga ambassadors but as mindfulness teachers! The purpose of Hike Leader Community Leadership Program is to create more mindful leaders in our community. We are incredibly grateful to have our partner, the Los Angeles Audubon Society, offer nature training in local geology and native plants twice a year, July and January.
